This guide covers the most common payment options in PV, and how our concierge team can help make the process easier.

If you have an overdue CFE electricity bill, there are a few ways to make your payment and avoid potential service interruptions.

1. Pay online / CFE App

You can pay your CFE bill online through CFE’s official website or mobile app. To use this option, you’ll need to create an account and register your Service Number (Número de Servicio), which can be found on your electricity bill.

However, online payments may not be available for bills that are significantly overdue or if the account has already entered the disconnection process. If your payment due date has recently passed, online payment may still be accepted, but it is important to verify your account status directly with CFE.

2. CFEmáticos (CFE Self-Service Kiosks)

CFEmáticos are self-service kiosks operated by CFE that allow customers to pay their electricity bills even when the reception is closed. Simply scan your bill or enter your Service Number, select your payment method, and keep the receipt as proof of payment.

Some CFEmáticos in Puerto Vallarta can be found at:

📍 Colombia 1118, 5 de Diciembre, 48350 Puerto Vallarta, Jal.

📍TORRE KOBÁ, Local-14, 2° Nivel Av. Manuel Lepe Macedo, Guadalupe Victoria, 48317 Puerto Vallarta, Jal.

3. CFE Customer Service Centers

You can also visit a CFE Customer Service Center to pay your bill in person. A representative can assist you with payments, account questions, outstanding balances, and other service-related issues.

This option can be especially helpful if your account requires additional assistance or if your service has already been disconnected.

4. OXXOS

Overdue bills are generally only accepted at OXXO if the payment is no more than four days past the due date.

Please note that a small service fee is usually charged when paying through third-party locations such as OXXO.

Be sure to keep your payment receipt until the transaction has been reflected in your CFE account.

5. Pay Through Your Bank App

You may be able to pay your CFE bill through your bank’s mobile app in the “Services” or “Pay Bills” section by entering your Service Number (Número de Servicio) or scanning the bill.

However, for overdue bills, this option is not always available. If the account is significantly past the due date or already in the disconnection process, some banks may not accept the payment, and you may be required to pay directly through CFE channels or at a CFEmático.

When available, bank payments usually take 24 to 48 hours to be reflected in CFE’s system.
